THE SUPPORTING EACH OTHER SUPPORT GROUP WILL BE MEETING  THE FIRST THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH, 2 PM AT THE ARDC/ONEIDA COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT BUILDING: TAMARACK ROOM ON THE 1ST FLOOR. 100 W. KEENAN ST., RHINELANDER,WI NEAR TRIG'S.

Thursday June 6th at 2 p.m. will be an open discussion.

This group will be for persons identifying as having a mental illness, persons with mental health concerns, or persons with lived experiences of either. The group will be led by a Certified Peer Support Specialist. This will be a safe and confidential place. This will be a group that encourages growth, wellness, empowerment, and self-determination. It will be an accepting, tolerant, non-judgmental, relaxed, casual atmosphere. This group will be open to anyone 18 or older; regardless of gender identification, race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, diverse styles of dress, tattoos, piercings, non-genetic hair colors, and well..., basically the whole gamut. (Any coffers, I didn't cover, I sincerely apologize.] And on that note, yes laughter and socialization will be encouraged. And "Permission Givers" ([Tissues] will also be available if any sad moments do occur. And sensitivity will be shown.
